Design of residential structures in the coastal areas South Carolina and in other parts of the world has two major hurdles: Designing for high winds and designing for seismically active geotechnical profiles. These challenges are overcome with thoughtful design that integrates lateral strength into the building envelope, while at the same time meeting the client’s functional and architectural vision.
